Chairman & Managing Director

Mr. Dhananjayan Unnithan leads the Cordial Group as its Chairman & Managing Director, bringing over three decades of experience in the construction and real estate industry. His leadership is driven by a clear vision to create sustainable and accessible housing that meets the needs of people across different segments of society.

From the early days of his career, Mr. Unnithan has focused on delivering practical housing solutions backed by quality and reliability. This vision led to the establishment of Cordial Homes, which has since grown into a trusted name among builders in Trivandrum, delivering notable residential and industrial projects.

His hands-on approach and commitment to excellence continue to shape the company’s culture. By encouraging adaptability and forward-thinking, he ensures that the organisation stays aligned with evolving market needs while maintaining consistent construction standards.

Mr. Deepak Dhananjayan brings a balanced approach to leadership at Cordial Homes, combining innovation with practicality and modern thinking with strong values. Leading a dedicated team at Cordial Homes, he actively integrates technology and modern construction practices into the company’s operations.

An accomplished entrepreneur and engineering professional, Mr. Deepak has played a key role in shaping a work culture that encourages flexibility, innovation, and problem-solving. His approach to project management has strengthened how customer satisfaction is understood and delivered across projects. He holds post-graduate qualifications from NICMAR, Pune and Heriot-Watt University, Dubai, and brings valuable international experience. His career includes roles with Sobha Developers Limited and Wade Adams Contracting LLC, where he worked on cost-effective, well-executed projects and led engineering teams.

A member of the Builders’ Association of India, Mr. Deepak is also a certified Chartered Engineer and Planning Engineer. In addition to his role at Cordial Homes, he is a Partner at Hotel Cordial Sopanam in Trivandrum and actively supports social and charitable initiatives. With a forward-looking mindset, he continues to drive Cordial Homes towards new opportunities while strengthening its foundation in quality, innovation, and trust.

Mrs. Latha Dhananjayan, Director of Cordial Homes, plays a vital role in shaping the organisation’s financial strength and operational stability. With over 32 years of experience, she oversees the company’s financial management and ensures strict adherence to all statutory requirements and regulatory standards. Leading a dedicated team, she brings clarity, discipline, and consistency to financial planning and execution. Her guidance has helped the organisation maintain strong financial health while supporting steady growth and timely project delivery.

Mrs. Dhananjayan also has a deep commitment to social responsibility. More than being the Director of Cordial Homes, Mrs. Latha Dhananjayan can be called the backbone of the Organisation. She is responsible for the financial health of the company and ensures the Group meets and exceeds the statutory compliances and regulations laid down from time to time.

Mrs. Dhananjayan brings to the table an experience spanning over 32 years and ably leads a team of 50 dedicated personnel. Corporate Social Responsibility is an area of great interest for her and she diligently works towards giving back to society. Her timely advice and guidance have helped the organisation adopt optimum results when it comes to project deliveries.

Under her guidance, the company has displayed remarkable financial health and has won the trust and confidence of its ever-expanding base of customers. Apart from successfully raising two children and moulding professionals out of them, Mrs. Dhananjayan has been instrumental and has played a key part in the success of Cordial Homes. Mrs. Latha Dhananjayan also adores a position as Partner at Hotel Cordial Sopanam, which is a premier luxury hotel in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Mrs. Alka recently joined Cordial Homes as a Director and has quickly become an active part of the organization. With a strong willingness to learn and contribute, she is focused on strengthening key functions within the company.

She is involved in marketing, general administration, and finance, helping ensure that operations run efficiently behind the scenes. Her approach supports both organizational structure and overall project execution. One of her key focus areas is the Interiors Wing of Cordial Homes, which she leads with enthusiasm. She aims to enhance the company’s offerings by delivering well-designed interior solutions that complement its residential projects.

Mrs. Alka holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and Technology. Prior to joining Cordial Homes, she worked as a professor at several engineering colleges, including College of Engineering, Trivandrum. She also holds a Diploma in Interior Design, combining technical knowledge with creative expertise. In addition, she serves as the Women’s Wing Secretary of CREDAI, Trivandrum Chapter, where she actively contributes to community and industry initiatives.
